The villa was lovely. It was very well kept up and appointed. Each bedroom was special; there wasn't one that was inferior to another. Each of our children and their families had privacy; it worked out very well.
We loved the indoor/outdoor feeling of the place. We loved the view from the back porch, and loved eating outside every morning and afternoon. The hot tub worked out well for us too because it was heated. The large pool was a little too cold for the adults and children; it would have been better if that could have been heated just a little, but perhaps because the weather was not as hot as it could have been, the water seemed cooler than usual. That is probably our only complaint.
It was very important to be able to use our computer,internet access is now really a requirement wherever we go.
The maid service was outstanding. The clean towels each day, and the beds being made and then turned down at night really made us feel like we were living in a luxurious hotel. Also, having the table set for each meal, and then having it all cleaned up afterwards, definitely made our trip more relaxing. The maid kept the place immaculate, and she worked very hard all day long washing and drying the pool towels, etc.
The cook was fine.She was a very pleasant person,we liked her a lot, and she did a very good job. I think it was more that we had a hard time communicating with her. She was willing to do anything we asked.
Enrique was very helpful too and willing to do anything. He definitely made our visit easy and would have shopped for us if we had asked him to. We are new at having so much help....we need to learn how to delegate!
